Embedded System training course

 

Embedded training is a application oriented training. Embedded Systems are becoming more and more pervasive, touching virtually all aspects of daily life. From mobile phones to automobiles, industrial equipment to high-end medical devices, home appliances, etc. Embedded systems today forms the very heart of all industrial and home appliances.


Prerequisites


Knowledge of microprocessor architecture and assembly language, microprocessor peripherals, digital design, and the C programming language is a prerequisite for this course. The corresponding CU-Boulder courses are ECEN 2120, ECEN 3100, and CSCI 1300. Although not listed as formal prerequisites, circuits/electronics (ECEN 3250) and computer organization are highly recommended. An understanding of compilers, assemblers, linkers, operating systems, analog design, diodes, transistors, and electromagnetic fields and waves will be useful.
